I'd like to start off with congratulating the Ohio State defense for remembering what a turnover is. Second, congrats to starting quarterback Justin Zwick for learning how to not throw the ball to the players on the other team.
I wasn't 'impressed' at all with last Saturday's game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack. I was, however, amazed by Mike Nugent. His astonishing five field goals from 50, 30, 33, 46, and 47 yards totaled 206 yards. Northwestern stomped all over our defense and offense in the game on Saturday, October 2, 2004. We did nothing glorious, and not one thing to go down in the record books. Though perhaps this game could win an award for being the worst game of the season.
In Ohio State's history against the Northwestern Wildcats, we have won 55 games. The Wildcats have won a mere 14, including last Saturday's game, and we have tied them once. Before the game in Chicago, Illinois, Northwestern had not won against us since 1971, giving us a pretty big advantage.

I don't care if we mess up on a play once or twice, but we can't keep running the same, flaw-filled offensive play over and over. There has to be tremendous practice on a variety of plays so that the other teams are kept guessing and don't know whi
